Dr. Lindsay Chimileski

is a naturopathic physician and acupuncturist with an enthralled devotion to herbal medicine, the human experience, plants, mushrooms, healing the root cause and the natural world. She is a teacher of local plant and mushroom identification and likes to emphasize that we are a part of nature, not separate from it. Additionally, she co-leads botanical excursions through the Jamaican jungle, teaching with the local healers while visiting sacred beaches, waterfalls, farms and trails. In practice, she focuses on treating the whole person, fully acknowledging and celebrating the interwoven layers of the physical body, the mind, the spirit and other intangibles that impact our health and well being.

When working with Dr. Chimileski, she will offer natural therapies and lifestyle changes to reduce symptom intensity and increase mental well-being, all while identifying and treating the underlying causes of the symptom or imbalance for long term changes. This catalyzes healing and empowers the patient during the (often difficult) nutrition and lifestyle adaptations that are needed long term to promote optimal health and prevent chronic disease development.  Dr. Chimileski loves being a naturopathic physician because of the truly unique, individualized care that grows with each patient's needs, each day.  It is an ongoing conversation- offering accountability, problem solving, new ideas and empowering you to nourish, understand and love your body and its innate wisdom. The synergistic combination of Naturopathic Philosophy, Traditional Chinese Medicine and always learning from Nature, allows her to bring a multifaceted approach to women’s health, anxiety, infertility, digestive disorders, and chronic or acute pain.   She offers psychedelic harm reduction counseling and provides a safe, nonjudgement space for you to ask your questions about these powerful medicines. She is an advocate for forest bathing, mindfulness, hiking, mushroom identification and foraging as medicine. She recharges by doing just that, spending time in nature, greenhouses, hiking, exploring and practicing yoga.

Dr. Chimileski has experience with local community speaking events, medical conferences and was an adjunct faculty member at the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine, as a professor in the areas of Botanical Medicine and Naturopathic Nutrition for many years.  Dr. Chimileski attended University of Bridgeport for both her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and her Masters of Science in Acupuncture. Prior to Naturopathic Medicine, originally wanting to go into the field of psychology, Dr. Chimileski completed her Bachelors in Human Development and Family Studies at University of Connecticut. Dr. Chimileski also teaches a variety of online and in person medicinal mushroom and herbalism courses. She is also a registered herbalist with the American Herbalist Guild.
